Ivette Lenard is a certified Women’s Qi Gong instructor by both Daisy Lee and Deborah Davis. She is passionate about the mind-body connection and she integrates somatic and mindfulness techniques in her private practice as a Psychosynthesis and Life Story Coach.
Qi Gong in general is a physical discipline that utilizes deliberate movement, slow breathing, mental concentration, and visualizations. It is based on the same energy meridians used in Chinese acupuncture and it is fully integrated into the traditional five element-wisdom of Chinese healing.
In my Women's online classes, we focus on mastering energy for the purpose of self-healing and we address women’s different hormonal and emotional needs. Participants learn cupping and shaking sequence which focuses on breast and uterine palace health. I introduce the six healing sounds which help to alleviate insomnia, anxiety, PMS, digestive issues, and hot flashes among other health concerns. In the seated portion of the class, you learn Qi Gong face massages which help regulate our nervous system. Organ Cleansing and Five Animals Frolic are open to all.
Appropriate for all ages, provided you are in good enough health. Do PM me with “ issues with your tissues”. Barefooted or with soft sole shoes. Movements are done standing and sitting on a chair in the comfort and privacy of your home.
Inner Garden Series
What Lights Us Up From Within:
Kindling Our Root
Join us for a Winter Equinox celebration, as we connect with the inner wisdom of the womb and explore how we can bring the light deep within our roots. We will be moving, writing, and sharing. It will be interactive and restorative.
Sunday December 11th, 2022
3:30 to 5:30 pm EDT | Zoom
The Inner Garden Series is offered seasonally 4 x a year with co-leader Ruth Ever, who brings her experience as a Whole Woman Practitioner, a Public Health Consultant, and by myself, a Psychosynthesis trained life coach, biography facilitator, and Qi Gong teacher.
We launched the series in 2021 and have now offered four seasonal Inner Gardening invitations. Here is what some participants had to say: "The Summer Inner Garden workshop was such a gift to me and I loved honoring the Celtic festival in such a way with other women. The balance of movement, beautiful language, meditations, and sharing was perfect. I would love to join Ruth and Ivette for another festival celebration. Thank you." - Abi UK
This series tunes into the pelvic inner landscape using guided visualization, biography work & time for connection. Anyone who has/had a uterus will find this micro retreat nourishing and rejuvenating!
Brought to you by The Connected Root Center and Attentive Heart Coaching. This is next in a series of workshops that align with the seasons. Taught by Ruth Ever and Ivette Lenard
